Over time, pieces of jewelery often accumulate that you may no longer wear or that have broken. Sometimes you have inherited jewellery, watches, gold and silver and it is not to your liking. We want to give many of these treasures, whether large or small, a second chance, as a piece of jewelry or later, when something beautiful new has perhaps been made from the melted gold and gemstones.

Purchasing jewelery requires discreet, trustworthy, professional and technically competent advice. Because of our joint qualifications, first-class laboratory equipment and our professional experience, we are able to examine each piece of jewelry in detail and determine its contemporary value. Many pieces are still in demand or are in demand again and should be given a second chance. For such pieces, our purchase offers are of course higher than the current gold price.
When we welcome you to our shop with your jewelry, we first examine the pieces with our eyes and magnifying glass. Here we look at the hallmarks, engravings, any damage and the general condition. The size of the rings, the length of a bracelet or chain and the weight are also included in the evaluation.
We not only check the gold, platinum or silver content with the classic test acid, but also with a calibrated test device (X-ray fluorescence analysis), which can precisely measure the composition of the precious metal. This means that we can always determine exactly which precious metals were used in the piece of jewelry and you can be sure that you are getting the right price for every gram of your beautiful piece of jewelry.
If gemstones have been used in jewellery, we use a magnifying glass to look for any damage such as minor scratches or breaks. Sometimes it is necessary to examine a colored gemstone or a diamond more closely in the laboratory in order to be able to determine an exact value. We have a first-class and extensively equipped laboratory at our disposal for this purpose. In conjunction with our qualified training and professional experience, it gives us the opportunity to include the precious stones in a fair price calculation.
We would be happy to make you a personal offer for the purchase of your jewelry. You can visit us during our regular opening hours Mon - Thurs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. or arrange a personal appointment where we can concentrate exclusively and undisturbed on you and your jewelry. If it is not possible for you to visit us, there is also the possibility, after consultation, to make an assessment in advance at your home or at the place where the jewelry was secured. As a rule, however, we always need your jewelery in our specialist shop after a professional and fair assessment. For a possible transport, we only work with very reliable and safe companies and your jewelry will be insured by our in-house insurance on the way to us and here on site.
