From ancient brooches of the Bronze Age, which at that time were called fibula up to artistic masterpieces of Art Nouveau and Art Deco - each era shaped its own styles and trends. The ancient brooches consisted not only of gold and gemstones but also glass beads were already used as imitations for turquoise and lapislazuli.
